Authors

Would you like to author on Physiospot?

We are always looking for additional authors to join the team in contributing to Physiospot. Authoring is easy to do and has a number of personal and professional benefits:

  • keep yourself up to date with new research
  • contribute to your own continuing professional education and development
  • highlight clinically relevant research to the profession
  • assist in the implementation of evidence based practice

As a physiospot author you choose which clinical area/s you would like to contribute to, which journals you would like to review, how often you would like to contribute and you will be fully supported by our team.

Current Authors

Rachael Rachael Lowe is a musculoskeletal physiotherapis with a special interest in e-learning.  She has developed Physiospot and Physiopedia with the aim of incorporating online education into the continuing education and professional development of physiotherapists. She also works for Webducate on their health care projects.



Sue Sue de Charmoy graduated from the University of Cape Town, South Africa with a BSc. Physio (1990) then obtained an MSc Physio (1998) from the University of the Witwatersrand where she lectured for 7 years on the cardiopulmonary curriculum. Since 2002 she has been working in Bahrain Defence Force Hospital Cardiac Centre as the Head Physiotherapist. Sue contributes to our cardiorespiratory blog.




Author  Francoise Lauton is an experienced paediatric physiotherapist. She has completed extensive postgraduate training including a Diploma in paediatrics. After qualifying in France she now lives and works as a senior physiotherpist in Ireland. She contributes to our paediatric blog.
